The S2 Research Marketing Plan lays out tactics to enhance our marketing, ultimately leading to our goal to triple our sales in 2022. To do this, we used our marketing funnel, which breaks out our strategy in three phases. Within these funnels, we use our tactics to bring our audience down our marketing funnel, creating awareness of our brand and what we do, providing them with ways to fuel their interest, and establishing our credibility and develop trust among our audience.

Here is our breakdown of our 2022 Marketing Plan. Check out our marketing plan executive summary below!

How is Our Marketing Plan Laid Out?

Our marketing plans essentially follow the marketing funnel, which shows the process of the customer moving through a series of stages. While these stages vary based on type of customer, we decided to simply the marketing funnel into three phases: awareness, interest and trust, and engagement.

Phase 1: Awareness

In the awareness phase, our goal is to expose our brand to as many many people in our audience as possible. Their awareness is the first step in moving them through the marketing funnel, as it allows us to teach them more about the brand and what we do. This can be done through a variety of methods, including:

  • Presentations

  • Paid social media advertisements

  • Networking

  • And more

Phase 2: Interest and Trust

Once you have attracted your audience, it is time to keep your brand top-of-mind by making them more interested with your brand. This is where you begin providing the audience with engaging content that pushes them to want to learn more about you. With the more content you post, you also create more trust and credibility which will be important for the final phase.

From gated content demonstrating your expertise, to free website tools and webinars, there are a multitude of opinions to develop your interest and trust.

Phase 3: Engagement

Once you’ve attracted your audience with interesting content and they trust you, it is now time to directly engage with them and truly understand what their needs are. This can be done through one-on-one consultations, lunch-ins, and sample demonstrations of your services. This is the phase where you ultimately seal the deal and turn your leads into clients.
